The Russian Academy Of Arts

On July 5, 2012 in the White Hall of the Russian Academy of Arts there was the first panel discussion within the framework of the activity of the Council of Trustees of the scientific and cultural program of “The Forum of the Russian Academy of Sciences – the Academic Vernisage”.

The Program combining the potentials of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Russian Academy of Arts is aimed at the aesthetic and patriotic upbringing of young people, promotion of the world and Russian culture and support to young talented scientists and artists through the entire range of the enlightenment activity.

The Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Gury Marchuk presented M. Lomonosov Medal to the President of the Russian Academy of Arts Zurab Tsereteli, Rector of the Moscow State Conservatoire Alexander Sokolov, Member of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Arts Vasily Nesterenko, Rector of the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia Vladimir Philippov for their significant contribution to the advancing of knowledge, promotion of science and intellectual interchange.
