The Russian Academy Of Arts

On March 27, 2013 the President of the Russian Academy of Arts Zurab Tsereteli, Academicians of the RAA Vasily Nesterenko and Alexander Shilov took part in the meeting of the Patriarch’s Council for Culture where there was a discussion of the religious and public program “History of Russia. Spiritual Connection of Generations” 2012-2017. This year is dedicated to the 400th anniversary of the Romanov dynasty, in the year of 2014 the focus will be on the 100th anniversary of World War I. The meeting was also attended by the composer Alexandra Pakhmutova, poet Yury Kublanovsky, film directors Nikita Mikhalkov, Nickolay Burlyaev and many others.
