The Research Museum of the Russian Academy of Arts (17 University Embankment, St. Petersburg) invites you to take part in the Research Conference “The Romanov Dynasty – Patrons of Art”, that will take place at the Research Museum of the Russian Academy of Arts (17 University Embankment, St. Petersburg) on November 11-12, 2013.

 

Topics to be discussed:

1. Representatives of the Romanov House – Patrons of Governmental and Public Entities Involved in  the Promotion of Fine Arts and Architecture in the Russian Empire (the Imperial Academy of Arts, Association for the Encouragement of Artists and others)

2. The Romanovs – Commissioners of Art 

3. Private Art Collections of Representatives of the Romanov Dynasty

4. The Romanovs – Donators

5. New materials on the Iconography of the Romanovs in Fine Arts

6. The Romanovs – Bibliophiles
