CULTURE, ART AND SCIENCE IN THE AGE OF THE ROMANOVS: XXIII Alpatov Readings

The Russian Academy of Arts invites you to take part in the 23rd Alpatov Readings annually held at the Russian Academy of Arts. This year, the International Research Conference “Culture, Art and Science in the Age of the Romanovs” is dedicated to the 400th anniversary of the Imperial Romanov Dynasty. It will take place in the White Hall of the Russian Academy of Arts, 21 Prechistenka street, Moscow on December 5-6, 2013.
Problems to be discussed at the Conference deal with the Russian state policy in the field of culture and science in the 17th – 20th century, interaction of the authorities and artists in diverse types of creative activity.
