The Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts Boris Messerer - Chief Designer of the Masterpieces of Flemish Painting from the Collection of the Prince of Liechtenstein Exhibition in A. Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts

From June 20 – October 19, 2014 A. Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts hosts an exhibition “Masterpieces of Flemish Painting from the Collection of the Prince of Liechtenstein”. The chief designer of the exposition executed in the traditional classical style is the People’s Artist of Russia Boris Messerer. The highlights are works by Pieter Paul Rubens including his portraits and big canvases on mythological themes.
On display at A. Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts are 55 paintings by the 17th century eminent Flemish masters such as Anthony van Dyck, Jacob Jordaens, Franc Snyders, Jan Brueghel the Elder, Pieter Brueghel the Younger.
