Presentation of State Awards at the Session of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Arts

At the award ceremony at the session of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Arts (RAA) on July 8, 2014 the President of Academy Zurab Tsereteli presented the badge of the People’s Artist of the Russian Federation – the title awarded for outstanding achievements in the humanities and significant role in the promotion of Russian fine arts to the following members of the RAA:
- Anatoly Lyubavin, Vice-President, Academician of the RAA, Rector of V. Surikov Moscow State Academy Art Institute;
- Tatyana Nazarenko, Member of the Presidium, Academician of the RAA, Prof. of V. Surikov Moscow State Academy Art Institute;
- Alexander Tsygal, Member of the Presidium of the RAA, Academician-Secretary of the Sculpture Department of the RAA;
- Dmitry Sandzhiev, Academician of the RAA.
The Russian Order of Friendship was presented to the Academician of the RAA Nickolai Ivanov.
